Panasonic Launches Latest HD TV Lineup
Leading innovations in boosting viewing experience, Panasonic recently unveiled its all-new world of vivid color and crisp picture with its new lineup of television offerings that is part of the company’s vision to be “True to the Filmmakers’ Vision.” This is an ongoing effort of Panasonic’s Hollywood Laboratory to deliver to viewers images exactly as envisioned by their creators.
The new OLED 4K HD television lineup—which was formally introduced in the Philippines during its launch at Marriott Hotel in Pasay City—combines the revolutionary OLED (Organic LED) panel with Panasonic’s signature 4K Hexa Chroma Drive Pro to produce the most accurate and dramatic colors through Hexa Chroma technology, which reproduces six colors—RGB CYM—compared to conventional sets’ RGB reproduction, effectively unlocking OLED technology’s fullest potential for stunningly rich and vibrant pictures. The line’s HDR system also supports HDR10 and Hybrid Log Gamma, technics technology for superb audio quality.
The new product offering also boasts several high-end features from Panasonic. These include a special filter to reduce external reflections and express black shades more accurately; a super bright panel that boosts brightness, to make pictures look more dynamic; Dynamic Blade Speakers, a slim but powerful audio system for full 80-watt sound output; HDR Multi Support, for compatibility with Ultra HD Blu-Ray and HDR broadcasting; expended 4K HD models (43” to 65”); HDR PRO; and an expanded series with Hexa Chroma technology up to HD TV.

Gracing the launch were Panasonic’s President Shinichi Hayashi, Sales and Marketing Division Vice-President Masaru Toyota, and Director of AV Merchandising Division – Panasonic Appliance Marketing Asia Pacific, Mr. Nobuhide Saito.
During the event, Panasonic also brought in Zach Sycip—a professional cinematographer whose works include advertisements and feature films—for a product demo and presentation, to show how the new lineup reproduces images in a manner accurate to how directors and cinematographers intend them to appear.Sycip is a long-time patron of Panasonic’s products.
