FOR: TYPHOON “BUTCHOY” (NEPARTAK)
TROPICAL CYCLONE: WARNING

Typhoon “BUTCHOY” has further weakened while crossing Southern Taiwan.
- Tropical Cyclone warning signals elsewhere are now lifted.
- Estimated rainfall amount is from moderate to heavy within the 600 km diameter of the typhoon.
- Fisherfolk are advised not to venture out over the southern and western seaboards of Luzon.
- “Butchoy” will enhance the Southwest monsoon which will bring moderate to occasionally heavy over the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Batangas, Cavite and Mindoro.The public and the disaster risk reduction and management council concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next weather bulletin to be issued at 5 PM today.
