“Choose Your Side”
The epic clash of the year, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will bring the battle arena at SM Supermalls. Yes, it is true! Warner Bros. Consumer Products, DC Entertainment and licensing representatives Pacific Licensing Studios (PLS) in the Philippines have inked a partnership with SM Supermalls to present a touring mall event themed as “Choose Your Side”. This will served as a kick off for the Warner Bros. Pictures’s most anticipated rivalry movie of the year Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Powerhouse cast for Batman v Superman
Zack Snyder (Man of Steel) is the brilliant director for the film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice presented by Warner Bros. Pictures. Headed by Oscar-winning star Ben Affleck (Argo) as Batman/Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) as Superman/Clark Kent in the characters’ first big-screen pairing.
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
The film opens on March 26, 2016.
The SM Supermalls event was launched on February 20, 2016. The event features an impressive construction of the Dark Knight’s Gotham City sitting side-by-side to the Man of Steel’s Metropolis, with an incredibly detailed 1:1 scale replica of the Batmobile, as well as life-sized statues of the Super Heroes whose epic face-off drives the action, Batman and Superman, along with Wonder Woman who makes her first ever big-screen appearance in the film. DC Comics fans will be able to choose who will win and support their favorite Super Heroes, through photo booths, gaming stations, collector’s exhibit and a pop-up store with exclusive movie merchandise. Immerse yourself in the full Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice inspired experience walking through the amazing displays set up at the event. The event will be toured around twelve SM Supermalls across the country.
Leading up to the release of the film, WBCP has also collaborated with fashion retailer Pen Shoppe to launch a collection of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice branded limited edition apparel and accessories; and a collection of trendy watches from Axis by Newtrend. Both collections will debut at the not-to-be-missed fashion show at SM City North EDSA on 12 March, 2016.
Aside from the fashion show, fans of LEGO can enjoy the immersive play area setup by the LEGO Group, alongside the display of their Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice product line, and an exclusively created LEGO mosaic featuring the two iconic Super Heroes.
Other partners of WBCP including B’lue flavored water, Peppero snack, Silverworks and Energizer batteries will also be featured at the event.
